Nagios NMS  facing error  after installation 

The requested URL /nagios/< was not found on this server.

If you are getting error  nagios software after successful installation then check for  

Error:The requested URL /nagios/< was not found on this server.

Solution : First Remove PHP completely   .

Go to Terminal and type command given below.

$sudo apt-get -y purge php.* 

After this command your php will start removing .

******************************************************

Now Install php Again type command below.

$sudo apt-get install php5 

**************************************************

after finish php5 installtion restart apache server by  given command.

$sudo service apache2 restart

.

Now check you will not find  

The requested URL /nagios/< was not found on this server.
